Aim
The aim of this course is to certify students to use the NATO Nuclear Command and Control Reporting procedures within Allied Command Operations.

Learning Objectives
NATO Nuclear Operations:
Given references, the student will describe the Allied Command Operations (ACO) crisis response planning process in accordance with NATO doctrine and policy.
NATO Nuclear Crypto:
Given references, the student will employ crypto material associated with nuclear operations in the NATO Nuclear Command and Control Reporting System (NNCCRS) architecture and software in accordance with NATO doctrine and policy.
NNCCRS Messaging:
Given references, the student will produce nuclear messages using NNCCRS in accordance with NATO doctrine and policy.
Course Participants
Military officers (OF-1 through OF-5) and NCOs (OR-4 through OR-9), or civilian equivalent, assigned to work in a nuclear-aligned post in a MOD or subordinate national military HQ, unit or agency that operates NNCCRS.
French personnel are not eligible for this course (reference MC 155-01).

Methodology
This one week (5 days) course is comprised of formal lectures with question and answer periods and computer based exercises. There are two group syndicate exercises based on various scenarios. A culminating exam using the NNCCRS computers concludes the course incorporating all of the learning objectives.
