ADL courses can be accessed without the need for enrolment but students are required
to register through the JADL portal
using a military/government email address otherwise they will not be accepted.
Given a set of parameters, the student will, as part of a project team, produce an e-learning project plan to be implemented during the course.
Instructional Systems Design:
Given a set of parameters, the student will, as part of a project team, apply the ADDIE model to their eLearning project.
Selecting eLearning Strategies:
Given a set of parameters, the student will, as part of a project team, apply eLearning strategy to their eLearning project.
Given a set of parameters, the student will, as part of a project team, prepare and develop eLearning content for their eLearning project.
Implement and Conduct eLearning:
Given a set of parameters, the student will, as part of a project team, develop strategies to conduct eLearning based on best-practices discussed in class.
As part of their e-Learning Project, the student will, as part of a project team, develop assessment strategies to conduct an evaluation on the developed eLearning course based on best practices discussed in class.
Military officers (OF-1 through OF-5) and NCOs (OR-3 through OR-9), or civilian equivalents, who are assigned to the NATO Command and Force Structures, NATO Education and Training Facilities (NETF), and those Centers of Excellence (COE), Partnership Training and Education Centers (PTEC), and National Training Institutions (NTI) that support E-Learning or ADL programs.

This two-week course is comprised of six modules which build upon each other according to a systemic approach to eLearning development. Within each module, discrete steps in the process are first explained, demonstrated and then practiced by students at individual workstations. Conceptual work will be illustrated with in-class examples and exercises. Students will work as part of a team to deliver an e-learning project by the end of the course.
