Explain Global programming policy:
200-Given reference material the student is able to explain the Global programming Methodology and Training Needs Analysis policy in accordance with NATO standards
Define a training strategy:
300 -Given a project environment, the student will be able to construct an E&IT solution, by completing a Course Control Document II, which will enable individuals to achieve the Performance Objectives in accordance with NATO standards.
Generate an Instructional Strategy:
300 -Given a project environment, the student will be able to apply the considerations for course design, by completing a Course Control Document III.
Manage Course Delivery:
200 -Given a project environment, the student will be able to explain the considerations for developing and implenting materials, services and operational integration of the E&IT solution in accordance with NATO standards.
Direct E&IT improvements:
200 -Given a project environment, the student will be able to explain the necessity for continious improvement of an E&IT solution in accordance with NATO standards.
Military/civilian-equivalent members in an E&T management position who are assigned or selected for assignment to the NATO Command and Force Structures (NCS and NFS), a NATO Education and Training Facility (NETF) or those Centers of Excellence (COE), Partnership Training and Education Centers (PTEC) and National Training Institutions (NTI) affected by the Bi-SC Education and Training Directive (E&TD) 075-002.

This one-week course is comprised of several modules which build upon each other according to the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) in NATO. Within each module, discrete steps in the SAT are first explained then illustrated with in-class examples and end-of-row / table-top exercises. Students are then required to produce instructional design products using a detailed and realistic NATO scenario.
This E&IT solution is a compressed five-day resident course that introduces the five phases of the NATO SAT.

d. Student Pre-Course Confidence Survey (Online)
During the residential phase, the following methods of instruction are employed:
a. Interactive lecture
b. Problem-based learning in syndicate
c. Guided discussion
e. Case study
f. Peer briefing
g. Non-instructional solutions (learning aids)
Assessement is formative for each segment of content and summative for each PO.
Post conduct: students will be registered to a NATO SAT community of Interest forum where they can access current course content, learning and training aids (decision support tools, micro learning, templates, best practices).

The S7-136 NATO Systems approach to Training is hosted on the NSO eLearning Platform for use in-class and to support Mobile Educaiton and Training Team (METT) course delivery. Once your registration has been approved you will be notified of your enrollment in the NSO eLearning Platform.
