Learning Objectives
SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES VS. CONVENTIONAL FORCES.:
Given references, the student will be able to describe the nature of special operations forces and what differentiates them from conventional military forces in NATO.
SPECIAL OPERATIONS AVIATION COMMAND AND CONTROL (C2) AND ITS INTEGRATION PRINCIPLES:
Given references, the student will be able to describe the integration of SOF aviation with special operations and conventional forces through the various liaison elements, structures and functions.
Course Participants
Military officers (OF-2 through OF-4) and NCOs (OR-6 through OR-9) or civilian equivalents from any service, who are assigned or selected for assignment to an international or national organization as Staff or as planners, performing duties directly associated with the planning and/or integration of special air operations, or responsible for SOF aviation planning and integration at the SOATG level or higher.

Methodology
This one week course is comprised of formal lectures, designed to provide students with a detailed understanding of the content being presented, followed by brief, moderated Q&A sessions.
Apart of the interactive plenary lectures, practical exercises (based on a Case study) in small syndicates followed by back briefs to plenary and discussion with comments will be held. Multimedia means are used in a balanced and constructive combination to enhance internalization of information.
