production and peer-review of standardized all-source
analytical products in response to Intelligence
Requirements. (IR).

Learning Objectives
Apply The Processing Stage Within The Intelligence Cycle:
Given references, the student will apply the main characteristics of the processing stage within the intelligence cycle IAW references. Requires a level of comprehension that will enable a learner to reason, analyze and interpret concepts, doctrines and structures.
Produce an All-Source Intelligence Product:
Given references, the student will utilize single source material (HUMINT, OSINT, SIGINT or IMINT mainly) supported by Intelligence Functional Services (INTEL FS) for processing an all-sources product (verbal and/or written) IAW references. Requires a level of comprehension that will enable a learner to reason, analyse and exploit single source intelligence products.
Apply Intelligence Analytical Techniques To Support Intelligence Production:
Given references, the student will understand the main Intelligence Analysis techniques (diagnostic, contrarian and imaginative) and apply it to support intelligence products (written or verbal, on time or ad-hoc) development IAW references. Requires a level of comprehension that will enable a learner to analyse the information/intelligence for an operational use.
Explain Intelligence Processing Lessons Identified And Learned during NATO Joint Ops and Exercises:
Given references, the student will be able to explain the main Lessons Identified and Lessons Learned from NATO Joint operation exercises (Trident series) and NATO recent or on-going operations (ISAF, Resolute support and KFOR mainly) regarding the Intelligence processing. Requires a level of comprehension that will enable a learner to utilize LI/LL for his own processing step.
Course Participants
Military officers (OF 1 to OF 5) and NCOs (OR 5 to OR 9) and/or civilians equivalent from NATO member Countries, who are assigned within the NATO Command Structure or the NATO Force Structure intelligence agencies or organizations, including NON NATO Nations part of the NATO Intelligence Community: NWZ, AUS, IRL, AUS, FIN, SWE, SWI.These category members need an appropriate National SECRET clearance and have requested a waiver by meeting the criteria in one of the five environments as described in the current AC/35-D/1040.
It is mandatory complete INT-JI-11727 (NATO Intelligence - An Overview) and ADL 037 (Introduction to NATO) before attending the course. Prior attendance of the NATO Intelligence Course (N2-02) is desirable.

Methodology
This two week course is comprised of interactive plenary lectures, brief moderated Q&A sessions alternating with facilitated work in small syndicates, followed by back briefs to plenary, personal case studies to complete the student’s knowledge, culminating with a scenario driven final exercise to certify completion to standard and retention of subject matter.
Lesson methods provide students with a level of comprehension that will enable them to identify, reason and utilize doctrines, structures and procedures in order to deliver Intelligence products to fulfil Intelligence requirements for planning, conducting operations and decision-making process.
An instructors’ panel discussion, interacting with the students provides high-level perspectives by closing the course on Friday of the second week during the Course’s Hot Wash-up and Course’s closure.
