Aim
To prepare evaluators for Air and Air Surveillance and Control System (ASACS) Tactical Evaluations (TACEVAL).

ADL courses can be accessed without the need for enrolment but students are required
to register through the JADL portal
using a military/government email address otherwise they will not be accepted.
Learning Objectives
ACO TACEVAL Program:
Given references, students will be able to explain the ACO TACEVAL organization, programme, policies and procedures for conducting a TACEVAL for Air and ASACS units.
TACEVAL Preparation and Administration:
Given references, students will be able to apply TACEVAL preparation and administration in accordance with ACO Forces Standards procedures.
The TACEVAL Field Report:
Given the lectures, workshops, references and supervision, the student will be able to produce written comments, to include grading proposals for the TACEVAL Field Report, as directed by the Team Chief / Area Chief / Team leader.
Course Participants
(1)NATO nations:
a. be a military member of the rank OR-6 through OF-3 in NATO countries or their civilian equivalents. Acceptance of higher than OF-3 nominations will be subject to OPR approval.
b. has experience in specific AIR or ASACS Operations area that requires evaluation as specified in ACO Forces Standards Vol VI.
(2) Partner nations:
a. be any military member of the rank OR-6 through OF-4 in Partner nations. Acceptance of OF-5 nominations will be subject to OPR approval.
b. has experience in specific AIR or ASACS Operations area that requires evaluation as specified in ACO Forces Standards Vol VI.
(3) North Macedonia:
a. be any military member of the rank OR-6 through OF-3 in North Macedonia or their civilian equivalents. Acceptance of higher than OF-3 nominations will be subject to OPR approval.
B. has experience in specific AIR or ASACS Operations area that requires evaluation as specified in ACO Forces Standards Vol VI.

Methodology
This one-week course is comprised of:
a. 14 lectures,
b. five note taking and report writing exercises
- (three of them individual) and a
c. 15 hours syndicate exercise.
All exercises are debriefed in class room or individually. Assessment is summative. All lecturers and syndicate facilitators are certified TACEVAL evaluators from ACO staff and NATO nations.
