Aim
Train NATO and National security personnel, who will be appointed to NATO security positions or to work with NATO security organisations on all aspects of Physical Security, Personnel security, Security of Information, INFOSEC, Industrial Security, Force Protection and familiarise them with the NATO Security Policy, especially with "Intelligence and Information Sharing with NNEs" and Security Awareness.

Learning Objectives
Navigation of the NATO Roadmap:
Given references, students will explain the organization, use, and significance of the NATO ROADMAP in accordance with NATO security policy.
Terrorism, Espionage, Sabotage, and Subversion (TESS):
Given refernces, students will identify warning signs associated with terrorism, espionage, sabotage and subervsion and the appropriate security responses for each in accordance with NATO doctrine and policy.
Physical Security:
Given references, students will explain NATO’s physical security processes and standards in accordance with AC/35-D2001-REV2.
Information Security:
Given references, students will explain NATO’s processes and standards for information security in accordance with AC35-D/2002-REV4.
Security Education & Awareness:
Given a scenario and references, students shall be able to explain security awareness and training programmes in accordance with NATO doctrine on physical security, security of information, and INFOSEC.
Course Participants
Military officers (OF-1 through OF-4) and NCOs (OR-5 through OR-9), or civilian equivalent, who is assigned to a NATO headquarters or agency, or a Ministry of Defence, Foreign Affairs department, or subordinate military headquarters.

Methodology
This one week course is comprised of formal lectures, followed by brief moderated question-and-answer sessions with group exercises on various scenarios using the NATO ROADMAP. The group exercise culminates in a presentation of the exercise goals and learning objectives.
