Learning Objectives
Explain Operations Management in CJOCs:
Given a series of presentations, students will successfully explain the operations management in CJOCs in accordance with relating doctrine.
Explain missions and functions of CJOC:
Given a series of presentations, students will successfully explain the common missions and major functions of the CJOC within a NATO-led multinational headquarters in accordance with governing doctrine.
Apply all CJOC SOPs to a CJOC model:
Given a scenario, students will successfully apply above mentioned knowledge in designing a set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for a model CJOC in accordance with relating doctrine.
Course Participants
Military officers (OF-2 through OF-5) and NCOs (OR-8 through OR-9), or civilian equivalents, assigned to the operations centre of a military organization.

Methodology
This one-week course is comprised of lectures, syndicate work, and student presentations. Day 1 and 2 primarily focus on creating a baseline understanding of the common missions and major functions of the CJOC within a NATO-led multinational headquarters, the general differences between CJOCs, functioning at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels, and the activities performed by the CJOC of a NATO-led multinational headquarters. In Day 3 and 4 students in syndicates apply this knowledge in designing a set of standard operating procedures for a model CJOC. On Day 5 students brief the class on their syndicate work.
