To enable members to deconstruct the concepts and principles of the NATO alliance including Reserve roles, missions and doctrine, in order to develop Reserve Force policy and/or doctrine.

Learning Objectives
Understand the NATO Command and Operational Structure/Ongoing Operations:
Given references, the student will understand the NATO command structure and its relationship to the conduct and support of operations, including NATO crisis response system.
Understand the Contemporary and Future Security Environment:
Given references, the student will understand the global contemporary and future security environment.
Understand the Strategic Concept, NATO Enlargement, Partnerships and Reserve Forces/NRFC Relevence:
Given references, the student will summarize the current NATO strategic concept with a specific focus on Partner relationships.
Course Participants
Active/Regular and Reserve military officers and civilian equivalents responsible for developing or implementing reserve policy, strategy, and/or doctrine or who are assigned to a NATO command.

Methodology
This is a five-day residential course comprised of;
