Learning Objectives
Define NATO:
Given references, students will describe NATO organization and structure in accordance with NATO Handbook Ed. 2006.
Leadership in the International Environment:
Given references, students will describe the tools, programs, and resources to most effectively perform his/her duties.
Communicate as a Senior NCO:
Given references, students will demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate information in accordance with established NATO guidance
International Ethics in NATO:
Given references, students will explain the significance of cultural diversity its impact in the international environment.
Current Issues:
Given references, students will explain the current issues facing NATO and its partners.
Course Participants
NATO/partner military personnel at the OR 6 – OR 7 levels or civilian equivalent.

Methodology
A two week residential course comprised of behaviour modelling, interactive lectures, problem-based learning (small group – syndicate work), role play, and simulation (practical exercises/gaming).
A working knowledge of the NATO NCO Bi-SC Strategy & Guidelines (Reference C) is required.
Assessment methodology is summative throughout the course.
