Learning Objectives
NATO Deployable Forces, the NATO Response Force, and Multinational Logistics:
Given a scenario, students will demonstrate understanding of NATO deployable forces, NATO Response Force (NRF) and its logistic support concept in relation to multinational logistics.
Management of Petroleum Matters within NATO:
Given a scenario, students will demonstrate understanding of the Alliance’s military petroleum policy, principles and doctrine relating to fuel support for Alliance forces, the means by which petroleum matters are managed within NATO, NATO standardization policy and procedures, and in particular how they apply to NATO petroleum matters.
Course Participants
Military officers (OF-1 through OF-4) and NCOs (OR-5 through OR-9) or their civilian equivalents from NATO nations, joint, or combined organizations who are assigned to NATO or national positions that involve logistics support or planning in multinational joint operations.

Methodology
This one-week course is comprised of lectures and presentations. The week is focused on achieving of a common understanding on all matters concerning NATO petroleum support amongst operators as well as a greater competency of staff, more effective and efficient fuel supply planning for NATO and NATO-led military operations and a seamless execution of logistic support in theatres of operation.
