The aim of this course is to develop intelligence analysts and operators' depth of knowledge in NATO Imagery and IMINT organizations, operations, assets, requirements and procedures within NATO.

Learning Objectives
Describe NATO Command Structure and associated processes.:
Given references, the student will describe NATO’s structures, including NRF/VJTF, intelligence structure and their responsibilities.
Explain NATO Imagery Intelligence Policy and organizations:
Given references, the student will explain the NATO IMINT policy and how it applies to the organizational elements.
Utilize the imagery intelligence for an operational use.:
Given references the student will utilize IMINT and imagery for an operational use (operations, collective training, exercises and events, including NAGSF).
Direct Reach back & External Organizations in support of NATO Imagery Intelligence:
Given references, the student will direct NATO IMINT reach back organizations or other organizations to support NATO operations.
Utilize Reach back & External Organizations in support of NATO Imagery Intelligence:
Given references the student will utilize NATO IMINT reach back products in support of Intelligence assessment and/or planning.
Utlize IMINT Future Capabilities and Standards Development:
Given references, the student will be able to uitlize various governmental and commercial imagery products to produce an IMINT assessment (EO, IR, SAR, GMTI and multi/hyperspectral images) in support of NATO operations and/or planning, in accordance with NATO STANAGs.
Course Participants
The target audience is grouped into two categories: intelligence analysts and intelligence operators, military officers (OF1 to OF5), NCOs (OR5 to OR9) and/or civilians equivalent, who are assigned within the NATO Command Structure, the NATO Force Structure and the NATO Intelligence Members HQs.
Second category are members of NATO Nations, including non NATO Nations, but part of NATO Intelligence Community (NWZ, AUS, IRL, AUS, FIN, SWE, SWI) who are providing IMINT external/operational reach back support. These category members need an appropriate National SECRET clearance and have requested a waiver by meeting the criteria in one of the five environments as described in the current AC/35-D/1040.
ADL-037 and ADL-046 are mandatory e-learning modules which need to be completed before the start of the course.
Pre-reading AJP 2.6 and Imagery Glossary have to be completed before the start of the course.
If pre requirements are not completed before attending the course, students will receive a certifcate of attendance instead of a certificate of completion.

Methodology
This one week course is comprised of interactive plenary lectures, followed by brief moderated Q&A sessions alternating with facilitated work in small syndicates, followed by back briefs to plenary under the leadership of the Course Director. Case studies are completing the subject matter.
Lesson methods provide students with a level of comprehension that will enable them to identify, reason and utilize doctrines, structures and procedures.
An instructors’ panel discussion, interacting with the students provides high-level perspectives by closing the course on Friday during the Hot Wash-up.
