Internships

The NATO School Oberammergau (NSO) offers interns the opportunity to work and learn in a multi-national academic facility located in the Bavarian Alps. Interns have the opportunity to assist in the academic programme and, when available, participate in specific lectures and courses.

All personnel interested in an NSO internship are required to submit a no more than one page letter of intent to the Personnel and Administration department. Your letter of intent should in-detail describe your desired outcome from an internship at the NSO and provide the reviewing authority an idea of which department at NSO would be the best fit to meet your personal and education goals.

The NSO Departments and their descriptions can be found at the following link:
NSO > Academics > Portfolio > Academic Departments

Please contact the NSO Personnel Office via the → Contact Form, choosing Category Employment/Internship. A representative will reach out to you shortly and request your letter of intent.
